I see Aussies Bunny Patt!

@Kerry
So the LDT platecarrier is the mostly common PC used by KSK now & the Crye things is still in trial? Who is the guy with plain cloth & bring MG3 + G36?

edit : Where's the G3 from the first pic? Just G36. Never seen modernized G3 in use by KSK. Someone got the pic? They are using HK21 series for 7,62 power instead of G3.

@Lucied - the guy with the G36 and MG3 is Germany Army, playing the part of local security force (ANSF) for the exercise from what I recall reading.

What kind of attachment is it on his COMTAC? He's an airsofter but already seen that kind of attachment in some KSK pics.

Its the Peltor PPT which is used by the KSK on the Peltor itself to have a better access while the operator is prone.

Any ideas on the NOD mount?: http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 0696_n.jpg

It looks vaguely ANVIS-ish?

Well it is an ANVIS ground mount. The ANVIS will be widely fielded by now with the name BONIE- M. It roughly stands for modular night vision google. Wrote an artivle a few weeks ago about this issue. It can be found here but is in German language.

Oh, right, I'll be honest, I'm not so familiar with ANVIS, I know there's quite a few different mounts out there, but I've never came across this one until I saw the SMC catalogue... So, would it be a thing of fantasy to find and buy this kind of mount yet?
